In accordance with Georgia law, the Mitchell County School District does hereby announce the FY 2026 Board of Education Budget Meeting dates and times listed below. Meetings will take place in the boardroom at 108 South Harney Street in Camilla.
· Thursday, May 15th, 2025, 5:30 PM – Board Work Session with Public Input
· Tuesday, May 20th, 2025 at 5:30 PM – Board Meeting with Public Input and Tentative Approval of the FY2026 Budget
· Tuesday, June 24th, 2025 at 5:30 PM – Board Meeting and Final Approval of the FY 2026 Budget

Meetings: April 30, 2025 at 4:30 p.m. and May 7 at 10 a.m.
The Mitchell County School District and its schools are reviewing and revising our Combined Title I Family & Parent Engagement Plan, District Improvement Plan/ Consolidated LEA Implementation Plan. Meetings will be held in the Mitchell County Board of Education's Federal Programs Office at 108 South Harney Street to allow time for parents and stakeholders to view these plans and offer feedback and suggestions.

All school personnel and stakeholders are invited to join any of the meetings to review and give input into the revision of the MCSS District Improvement Plan.
