With summer break upon us, we know some students may face food insecurity while away from school buildings. FoodFinder (https://foodfinder.us/) is a mobile and web app created by a graduate of Georgia public schools that allows families to find food distribution sites (including food pantries, drive-through distributions, and school meal providers) based on their location. In Memory of Mr. Joseph White

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our long term serving Mitchell County Board of Education member and chair Mr. Joseph White. Funeral arrangements: Public Viewing: Wednesday, June 29 at 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at Thomas and Son Funeral Home in Pelham, Georgia. Funeral: Thursday, June 30, at 11:00 a.m. at Beulah Baptist Church in Camilla, GA. Mr. White's Funeral Service will be live-streamed.

Called Board Meeting-June 23, 2022

The Mitchell County Board of Education has scheduled a Called Board meeting on Thursday, June 23, 2022, beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Mitchell County Board of Education Board Room located at 108 South Harney Street, Camilla, Georgia.

The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss personnel.

MCHS Football Game Moved From October 29 to October 28

The football game against Terrell County has moved to Thursday, October 28 at 7 p.m. at Terrell County.

MCHS Football Game-October 8 moved to MCHS Stadium

The football game that was scheduled for tomorrow (October 8) night at Terrell County will be played at the Mitchell County High School Stadium. Game time is Friday October 8 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased Friday at Mitchell County High School after 12:00 p.m. or at the gate.

Tamika Wilcher Featured on The Ellen Show-September 24 at 3 p.m.

Mrs. Tamika Wilcher, first grade teacher at MCPS, will be featured on The Ellen Show on September 24, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. Mrs. Wilcher's learning and skills raps blew up on Tik Tok and went viral. Wilcher's first grade students surprised her during the interview and rapped along with her through zoom. Way to go Mrs. Wilcher and your First Grade Cool Cats!!!!!!

Canceled: MCHS vs Miller County Football Game

The Mitchell County High School football game scheduled for September 24 against Miller County has been canceled. The game was canceled by Miller County and will count as a win for Mitchell County.

Pubic Notice: No school for students on August 17, 2021

MCHS Football Scrimmage Game Against Cairo-Canceled

The football game against Cairo scheduled for August 13 has been cancelled. The Eagles will resume play against Pelham at home (Eagles Stadium) on August 20.
